The Scarecrow missions of Asylum were absolutely spectacular, the rest of the game didn't keep me playing enough though. Too many times when I was lost and didn't know what to do, that might make me sound like a noob but the game also never really captivated me to the point where I really felt I had to put it on and play it, even though I enjoyed it when playing it and am a massive Bat fan.

Also Aragorn, Nightwing isn't "just another sidekick", he's a sidekick who actually moved on from Batman to do his own thing, he grew and developed in Bruce's shadow but in the end he said goodbye and found his own way

Except he always bounces back to just being another sidekick. Minus the time he took over as Batman, I never felt they quite captured him becoming his own thing.
Also, got the entire Final Crisis run. Lots of comics to burn through, the day evil won, I suppose. will follow up with Infinite Crisis.

Also, completely with you on the being lost thing, the game's bigger problem IMO. It had too much backtracking and the level design layout was simply too convulated.

Except him and Batman team up in the same way Batman and Superman team up, neither is a sidekick. He also had his own ongoing series didn't he? May still have it but if he does it's New 52 so I don't care, I haven't been to a comic shop in a long time

Nightwing has his own New 52 series, it's alright. Wasn't he leader of the Titans for a good while? Pissed off Deathstroke a great many times, fucked his daughter iirc...

Haha shit, for real? now I really have to read up on that. What issues?
Still kind of pissed they shafted Deathstroke as just another Titans villain and discontinued his run.

Don't think it was in New 52. But that's another reason people like NW, he gets more DC strange than anyone except maybe Hal Jordan.

anyone think the joker should be in the next standalone batman film? Who would you like to play him? If we are going for someone roughly bens age i think crispin glover could be a good choice.

Just..nobody, I dunno. I don't really think anybody can outdo Ledger's interpretation of the character.

He'd only fail if he tried to outdo Ledger, that's the problem with a lot of movies nowadays. They always try to outdo their predecessors and fail because of it. The reason why Ledgers Joker stood out was because he wasn't trying to impersonate or outdo the previous actors to play The Joker, he put his own spin on the character and it worked. Don't think that just because he's the best so far (subjectively) no one else could do any better.

But anyway I really don't think it should be The Joker, he's gotten enough attention. Give some other villain a turn, and please don't use villains that have already been used in movies. Be original.

i think we need to get joker back in straight away. As for a seriour riddler i think john tuturro could do a good job. As for someone who hasnt had a live action adaptation yet, i reckon black mask is the way foward played by phillip seymore hoffman.

believe it or not, but i actually think his voice actor; brian bloom, could be a really great fit for a live action black mask. unlike regular voice actors, bloom's an actor actor too, with his share of action movies under his belt. plus, he actually looks like roman sionis in a lot of ways

I don't think we need another movie with The Joker in so soon after the previous one. Too little time between representations of the character will only cause complaints.

I'd like to see The Riddler

I do agree somewhat about the overuse of Joker can be an issue, however though, if they're doing a Batman origin story, Joker should be the first villain. That's just me being somewhat of a comic-canon elitist though.

Serious Riddler, definitely. The personality of Arkham's Riddler is pretty decent, I wouldn't mind if they used him as somewhat of a base.

But since they're going for Bats and Supes together, it should totally be Brainiac. He is one of my favourite Superman villains of all time and he has been used barely at all, no movies and only two series. And the Smallville version fucking sucked as an interpretation of Brainiac, although I didn't mind him in the show itself, it would of been fine if it was a different thing and not supposedly Brainiac. The Animated Adventures of Superman's version was decent (slightly off-tangent, it has one of my favourite Krypton origin stories in it), but I prefer an organic Vril Dox, rather than just an A.I.

Anyway, I'm starting to ramble there, but Brainiac would be epic. And definitely a challenge for even a Superman and Batman team-up.

I think Hush would be a cool villain to have too, maybe not with Superman as well though, as Clark could probably just tell the right Bruce from their heartbeats or something lol.

Most of all though there are two things I want to see on the big screen as far as Batman is concerned:

1 - A straight up Knightfaill film. Including the whole Azbat fallout as well. It was cool to kind of see it done in The Dark Knight Rises, but I would really love to see just a pure adaptation of the story, would be amazing.

2 - A Killing Joke/Rise of Oracle film. Oracle is one of my favourite Batman characters (one of the reasons I love Chloe in Smallville too, but I digress) and it pissed me off so much that they rebooted her back to Batgirl. Batman doesn't need more sidekicks (he barely even needs Robin tbh lol), but having a crazy intelligent hacking genius in his ear is far more useful to him. (Alfred is good, but he's getting on you know, not as up with the new technology XD) And Oracle is awesome. End of story (:p)

Alan Moore really doesn't like The Killing Joke, for some reason. He's kind of smug about it yet doesn't like it, he says that he's book is what made Batman dark and all, which is incorrect since Batman already was dark by the 80's, but it was the book that pushed the more psychological aspects of Batman and Joker's relationships. He says that too many people are trying to replicate it and it's ''killing the product''.
