I can safely say most modern day fans were really caught in with the whole Batman thing by TAS. Also, finally reading The Man Who Laughs. Shiit, Gordon is pretty awesome in this comic. Really captured his character and also how he has to juggle The Batman, press, authorities during his daily job.
