To be perfectly honest. I fucking hate the idea of Batfleck. I don't mind him as an actor at all, and while he would look good in the suit, and could probably pull of the philanthropist Bruce Wayne side of the character, I just don't see him pulling off the intensity and cold fury that is the Bat.

And after the debacle that was Man of Steel, I don't really have faith in the current incarnation of the DC Film Universe. So not particularly excited for Superman/Batman at all.
I agree 100%
Good job Jesus

Affleck is a far more talented writer than an actor. i really don't like the idea of him as bats either.

Beagle@ pretty sure Deathstroke had his arse handed to him once by Batman. I'm 100% sure he lost to Dick Grayson once and Batman/Robin though.

Also, the way Earth One is so..depressing. The way the story shifts the cause of events on Wayne made it that much so.

I hate it when I acquire a crossover and I have no idea how the reading order is, especially when it's like..20 comics.
The way I tend to do it is just read up the ''main'' issues then read the crossovers right before the finale, dunno, makes sense to me.

that one time was actually due to batman basically getting the drop on him. Bats is superior at being stealthy, he's also smarter than Slade and usually outwits him rather than beats his ass.

Grayson basically caught him when he was really vulnerable and not thinking straight (due to Tara's death i think)

nolans ever amazing casting choices for bat characters got me wondering, whose a villain you'd like to see brought to life on film and by whom?

all this talk about deathstroke has me wondering who could play such a badass. anyone else thinking karl urban in old man make up?

btw how old is ds supposed to be? because arkham origins said he was only 45, so then why does he look like solidus without his mask?

Daniel Day Lewis for Deathstroke.
This may, or may not be my only contribution to this thread.

I wish Nolan had done something with Riddler.

No idea who'd play him though.

nolan initially planned to before he realized it wouldn't be much different from tdk.

but according to an interview he did, dicaprio was the one they planned to cast as riddler. and after django, frankly i can definitely see it.

Eh Riddler in TDR would have been a very bad move, it would just be trying to recreate the light cast upon The Joker.
Speaking of which, if Joker is to ever reappear, please be New 52 Joker with the face all ripped and shit. Not only did it serve plot purposes but it also allows for some very surreal, if not grotesque imagery.

Nah, badass Grandpa always fit the chap.
Also, I noticed in the more recent Batman comics that it definitely doesn't feel...blocked out of this world, in a way. Things like Twitter are referenced, for example. Trends and shtick relating to the internet *Damien Wayne talks about trolling/flaming in Detective Comics 16, in his words ''What's next? trolling Joker message boards? a flame war with JOKERSONU254?''
Just something I picked up on.

Not really, it's not like they try to push it in your face ''LOOK AT US PEOPLE WE'RE MODERN AND HIP''
Just subtle references. For example, when the guys obsessed with Joker are running around, Batman scares a few harmless kids off who are dressed up, and mentions they aren't dangerous.
''The dangerous ones don't go and tweet their crime spree''.

I hated that Death of the Family was over every goddamn Batseries and it didn't even have the goddamn death in it! Spent all that time tracking down each issue just so I could have the full story on how whosididdle died and it happens the issue AFTER all that bullshit ends.
