In regards to hiding behind cover for an inst-heal. I haven't seen it obviously first person but it doesn't look like it just quickly regenerates allowing a quick return to battle. I really believe its to give more incentive to staying stealth throughout the game. like there is more of a risk with no for sure way to stay alive like there were before with rations. |

I was playing GZ the other day and started counting how much it took to get out all that blood of the screen when I was about to die. I counted 10 seconds. I hope this time gets longer in TPP. At least is not like COD/Killzone/Uncharted/Gears of War, etc which take 5 seconds to full regen after being near dead. But still, too short. The battlefield 3 system would be nice: it can take anywhere from 10 to 30 seconds to full regen depending on your damage. |

Im pretty sure bosses will do critical damage to you alot which doesnt let you regen health until you treat the wound with the healing spray. But i think the red screen effect when your injured will get annoying, as do most screen affects that take up most of the screen. I think there needs to be an option to turn off the screen affect and just have the prompt to use the healing spray. |

Heres my 2 cents on how the health system should work: Your health is like COD up to a point and then a health bar appears but it is very low about the size of one stamina bar and then you have to use medical supplies you find throughout the map to revert back to normal. This way you have a mgs3 feel to it but it is more seemless and replaces the med spray which is just completely ridiculous and also you still have the classic health system from old mgs games. Everyone wins and you have a neat survival feature.... feel free to criticize and reform how this should work and tell me what you think about it... and I already sent this idea to kojima so if you like it send it in to him |

If the health system from ground zeroes returns in tpp, it will male the boss battles tougher |

I think the regen is too fast. If you have an assault rifle you can just stand in the open and blast enemy after enemy away easily. |

You could argue that regenerative health and stealth gaming are like chocolate and peanut butter. On paper, they complement each other rather well. Unfortunately, the health system they have for GZ is too reminiscent of COD-style health, so unless you're playing on hard that sense of urgency during a combat status just isn't there. Hell, even on hard it's not as nerve-wrecking as it should be, so long as you use cover wisely. Does anyone remember Escape from Butcher Bay? The health system was set up so that you had a certain number of "blocks", each of which you could regenerate. Lose one though and it's for good until you can get to a med station. It was a perfect balance and something like that is exactly what MGS V needs. Or at the very least use another hybrid system like GTA V did. |

Yeah you can tell regen is too fast, because if you take on guards during alert on hard - you can for the most part stand your ground out in the open. If you do take damage, then its possible to dive behind something real quick to wait for the regen. Regen should be slow enough to where the guards have time to flank your cover and finish you off. That would make shoot outs feel much more desperate - it would add appropriate tension to the situation. Perhaps there will be greater difficulties beyond hard in TPP which remedy this. this would be awesome. as it is, health regen is too quick for the game to be a real challenge for combat |

I feel like with the restrictive map they felt that a regenerative health system would work best so maybe they could be changing it with TPP where the maps will be MUCH larger i really hope so |
