I usually tip around the back of Tesco's, the security cameras don't work and nobody is ever around at 2am. |

10%. And good service to me is a friendly and enthousiastic service. Bad service is obviously the opposite. |

I normally say 10% too. I don't really go anywhere fancy to make me think of tipping a lot. Also, do you only tip for dinner/evening meals, or breakfast/lunch out as well? |

Eeeh, I don't know how often you go to proper restaurants, but the general tip percentage ranges from 10% to 15%. |

It might vary in different countries though. In the United States, 10% is a lousy tip and every server would agree to that. They want 20%, but don't usually consider it bad if it's around 15. It all varies with how much you do for a table. Some tables 20% isn't enough. Servers are only paid $2.00 an hour in the U.S. for the most part. It could be different in other countries. |

15% minimum unless the server was an asshole IMO. Sometimes more depending on the circumstances. It's hard to calculate what's 15% of what the meal was sometimes too. |
