Maybe BB met Skullface before MGS3 that's why Skullface said '' Me and your boss go way back''.
This also explains why Big Boss said to Chico: ''Nothing to be ashamed of. Pain gets the better of us all'' , this sentence might have been said from Skullface to BB before MGS3

Not even going to watch it but I already know it's bullshit just because it's from Pythonselkshit.

Really, haven't people figured out by now that every theory he came up with prior to Ground Zeroes release has been proven wrong the second it came out? Nothing he says is worth mentioning unless it's to laugh at how ridiculously stupid he is for saying that kind of shit.

I stopped paying attention to Python when most of his theories have been proven wrong.

For example, during the video you listed, he points at the weirdness of Skull Face quoting Big Boss when interrogating a prisoner, pointing at it as an evidence to this whole thing being VR or whatever. Why did he arrive at this conclusion? Skull Face says that he and Big Boss go way back. This probably means that this quote was said by one of the two to the other, or something a mentor of both told them. How he glazes past this and arrives at the conclusion that this means the whole game is VR is beyond me.

Wait he thinks the soldier who got on the helicopter is Gray Fox so how is gray fox also simulating the game? Definitely confused me.

Perhaps he could be Ishmael but again that is weaker than saying the medic is Ishmael.

The only thing he noted that is suspicious is why snake's shadow doesn't match. Kojima is definitely up to something in this area. But again very hard to make theories like this when there were discrepancies throughout the video.

Edit: Have to give praise where it is due also on noticing the 'V' stitching - that was another good find.

Yes, let's be honest, his theories are far fetched, he may have a couple of interesting, ear tweaking things to say, but the overhead of such is a stretch to say the least. However, I do agree with you blingmonkeys, the only thing I do in fact take away from his video's is the shadow of Snake. Hell, even before Python released his latest theory, I remember playing Ground Zeroes one of the first times after release and while going down the hallway stairs where the camera is in the admin building, the shadow is very apparent and in your face.

I'm not going to speculate, I'm not debating, MGS2 and 3 had shadows for Snakes Mullet... For KojiPro to be touting Fox Engine and working it from the ground up, I find it incredibly hard to believe they would skimp out on the shadows.

I dismissed Snake's Shadow as engine limitations at first, but some other characters like Chico and Kojima have their hair visible in their shadows, so I'm not quite sure. Though I suspect it has something to do with Snake being on screen 100% of the time, so slowdowns are inevitable. However, rendering hair shadows for other characters like Chico is alright because they're only on screen for a limited amount of time. Or maybe I'm pulling stuff out of my buttom, I don't know.

Edit: Shadows for Snake in previous games are hand-drawn, however, they are rendered in real-time in the FOX Engine, which is why they might cause slowdowns.

I think that it's because of hair: it's not fully 3D-modeled, back part of it especially looks like plain image (sprite).

But even on a full 1080p verision on ps4. It's hard to make excuses for the fox engine not being capable because we all know how much of a beast it is. I can argue that because it is BB that is the more reason to put every character detail to his entity as possible, more so than say Chico (which Risev noted did have hair constructed shadows). Moreover I doubt a few lines of shadow would have been too much a strain for the fox engine to perfect.

But yeah it's still difficult for me to suggest why it's like this in the final product?

It might just end up to be nothing but we'll have to wait I guess.

P.S If someone could actually create a tangible body double theory from this evidence, perhaps it will be more convincing.

Hmmm... This theory sounds a bit crazy to me, even for MGS.

However, what I will say is that there's clearly a reason why Skullface says some of the same lines that BB has said in the past. Kojima obviously did this for a reason and I guess we'll find out once we play TPP.

Oh a pythonselkanHD video.
This wouldn't be a waste of my time to watch.
This guys reputation has pretty much ruined his credibility when it comes to theories or even general MGS knowledge at this point.
