So I just re-watched the interview with Kojima at GDC last year, and I clearly states
that Snake will be the only character you play in TPP, and further added "haha, no Raiden".
I think this pretty much puts the final nail in the Hayter hopefuls coffin. Kojima is rebooting MGS essentially.
Makes sense to change Snake's voice over. It's also why they switched to V instead of 5 remember?

We are BB, no Grey Fox, no Solidus, and no one else but Big Boss.
I think all the body double theories are ridicules. However, if Kojima is planning to do another bait and switch like in MGS2, of course he'll lie instead of saying "yeah we'll totally switch the main character and let you play as someone else!".

Just saying.

There's a chance sure, but would Kojima really risk it again? I feel this may be his true vision
of MG all those years back, and he's finally able to do it.

Still we carry you.

He wasn't that secretive last time. He did a whole article revealing everything before Europe and Japan had even played MGS2.

How many people actually read that article though? My guess is not a lot at all, because it's quite obvious the bait and switch move in MGS2 was a surprise to most if not anyone that I've spoken to that played MGS2 when it was released.

Yes, that's easy to say for an American :D But when the review in OPM has Raiden on the cover, you kind of get the feeling he didn't really care that much.

How does my region have anything to do with the fact that it was a nation wide surprise to 95% of the MGS fanbase?

Also, I'm Canadian.. not American. ^_^

I'm pretty sure it was a secret to those who didn't read the OPM article either...

How would I know it's going to contain a massive spoiler on the front cover? Anybody just looking at the magazine section would have seen it.

He mentioned something interesting... Konami, they claim that what they're doing in Casinos are the missing piece... money, to surpass video games.

I'm American, and it was a huge surprise, but internet was different then. I don't think
Kojima could keep a secret like that these days, what with social media.

If pythonselken or whatever his name is? Should be banned from posting videos and banned from YouTube forever if none of his theory's are correct. Also the person responsible for the Chico=quiet theory should put in a never ending vortex! Ha

Knowing my affinity for long hair I probably would have thought Raiden was better than Snake.
Having a sword would have helped too.

Funny, I was around 20 myself, and I would figure the older fans would have been
more accepting then the younger crowd...
