So for those who saw the video of Quiet doing stuff at Kojima Estation episode 6 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QN4je93pHMc), don't know if anyone noticed that there's a small dialoge of the iDroid's voice once she selected a mission, saying "mission accepted". THIS gives us a big clue of how missions in TPP will be very different from GZ, done actually in an open-world fashion, not just a big map replay. Meaning the missions will not be selected from the main menu for entering the map like PW and GZ (and if this is the case, this will really prove how unfinished GZ was), but more like Borderlands, where you select and accept missions from your main menu (in TPP, from the iDroid) and that will place marks, directions and objectives in the map and stuff. Makes sense if you think about it, everything Kojima has said about how the TPP will be, including the "free visit" to motherbase. This actually gives us an idea of how MGO can be too, if it has coop. |

You don't accept missions from your menu in Borderlands though. You just choose which one you want to complete, and can change them at will. You still can only accept missions from the mission giver. |

That's a pretty sound observation. Nice catch. Kind of makes you wonder how the whole "Home Base" thing is going to work, though. |

I'm thinkin the open world element will be relatively huge open maps (think the size of a world in mgs4 w/out loading screens) and like you said you'll be picking missions from the iDroid. But I also think when you are at MB there will be a room for selecting missions loadouts and how to get there. I honestly cant wait to see how its done (hopefully no let downs XD) |

Kojima confirmed that the Fulton Recovery would be in TPP, so I think we're gonna get something similar to PW in terms of ExOPs. I bet it will act much like GZ too, different objectives and what not. I'm glad too. I know it's not realistic, but having to load each individual soldier on the chopper will totally slow down the game play, I'd rather clip them and watch them go WAHOOOO!!!! lol |

An "open world" a la that of Borderlands is what I've been expecting the entire time. There will be side missions as well as main missions and you'll be able to do them in an order of your choosing (to a degree). I'd thought this was all basically confirmed...

The world would be better without Snakes.

Why don't they put subtitles on these videos, or a transcript of some kind? The english Kojima Station videos are such crap compared to this... |
