Would you like more gore in MGSV? I would! By gore I mean you can shoot an enemy to leg and it falls off or you can throw a grenade at them and they'll turn into minced meat. Or you shoot an explosive round at their head and their head explodes. I'd really like a Fallout 3 style gore mechanic (of course a more realistic one, not one where you punch a person and their whole body explodes) in MGSV. |

I want to shoot a guy in the face so many times with T-darts that his whole face swells up then explodes and the blood splatter on the screen doesn't go away for like hours - days! - YOU HAVE TO WIPE THE SCREEN IRL to get the blood off. That's the kind of gore I'm looking for. I want my enemy's blood to bleed. Nah, I'm okay with how it is now. If it's necessary, it's necessary. The headshot sound effect is still makes me cringe every now and then though. |

I just want to be able to cap legs and arms like we could previously. Realistic damage from grenades would certainly be cool, but that is aiming a bit high for a wishlist. |

No Thank you, not for me. The Paz 'open her stomach' scene was already too much for me. |

I wouldn't mind it. Realistic limb damage and explosive damage would be wicked, and maybe some more realistic blood splatter/wound effects. And more brutal CQC please, with the knife. |

I'd like more verbal reaction if anything. Amount of blood doesn't matter if the character merely grunts, stands up straight again and continues on as normal. I'd like gunshot wounds to actually have an effect past the immediate stagger animation. If you shoot a guard in both legs he should be on the ground unable to walk. Should someone once or twice in the stomach and they should drop, groaning and then screaming in pain as more time goes by. Shoot someone in the arm and they ought to, of course shout in pain or whatever but also, curse profusely and get panicked or such. Gore on its own doesn't do anything, imo. That said I would like to see more realistic reactions to explosions, especially when it happens right beside someone. At least plaster the guy in blood or something. :s |

Ughh, i hate the sound when BB hit the knife in the lungs of the enemy. Too much violence and gore in videogames is for freaks imo, don't like that but it's just me though i know people loving Blood and Gore but i do not. That's why i'm liking Watch Dogs cause you see no blood when killing someone lol |

You can cap their legs and arms, they drop to the ground in agonizing pain, and to my knowledge, never get up. I even shot one soldiers gun with the sniper rifle, and the force of the bullet smacking into his gun caused him to drop the gun and hit the ground grimacing in pain, as he held his right arm. I believe this is coming from PW, cause you could mortally wound a soldier, only to watch him die a few minutes later. Also, you may want to factor in distance. I believe the further you are away from your target, the less impact your rounds have. The suppressed rifle for instance is very weak, and has very little stopping power when aiming at center mass. The scoped assault rifle on the other hand is far more effective at longer ranges, and the sniper rifle will drop a soldier regardless where you hit them at any distance. Btw, I know everyone has sniped. But has anyone tried doing it realistically? If you keep moving from your last position, they won't find you. If you keep at it, they start freaking out. CP starts saying "we're under attack from an unknown sniper". The soldiers start yelling out at you in a panicked tone. If you haven't tried it, it's quite fun. This is definitely one of the better AI's I've seen in a game. It's just so fun to see how smart they are lol |

Ev has a very good point, I do hope that there are adequate reactions too, as that's the other half of the equation. No reactions and it kind of falls flat. Also I want more bone breaking in CQC. That would be nice. |

When they go down writhing in pain, that isn't the same as taking out one of their limbs from previous games. I want to be able to shoot a leg, and see them limping around. That does not happen. Its just a delayed one shot kill. I've shot guards in the hand before, and for some reason that results in a delayed one shot kill, where they writhe in agony on the ground for a bit bleeding out. |

Id really like the verbal response... Especially if its exagerrated. Using a silenced sniper then shooting it across the map..... The you hear and echoed "FU- IVE BEEN SHOT!!" It would make me laugh atleast. It would really need the echo though. Just hearing a quiet echo of someone just yelling from getting hit. It would atract attention. Unless you go for headshots to avoid him saying anything. Other than that i dont think there needs to be more gore. Since mgs is more about stealth, theres no need to focus on that stuff unless it is a cutscene. |

In cut-scenes -- no. It's depressing enough already. But I won't mind more "gore" in audiotapes. It was the best part of GZ for me, honestly. The (understandable) absense of image made all these terrible scenes with Paz, Chico and Skullface even more emotional and scary somehow |

I really don't care about gore that much but yeah i could live with more gore or with the same amount as currently as long as it doesn't go to over the top to a point where it just becomes ridiculous, like in Fallout 3 & New Vegas for example. I definitely don't want less gore thought, there has to be at least blood after someone gets shot or stabbed for example. |

I'm not necessarily asking for more gore, but its certainly welcome for me. I've been desensitized to gore from all the slasher and zombie movies I've watched, I'm actually surprised some of you guys are affected by the headshot sound effect. |
You too have known loss, and that loss torments you still. You hope hatred might someday replace the pain, but it never goes away.![]() ![]() Spoiler: click to toggle

I'm with Payne; give us some lethal CQC. I enjoyed how Blacklist had a non-lethal and lethal melee. The knife was always so important for CQC previously, so it should be put to use. The rest sounds equally as good. If you throw a grenade at your target, limbs should blow off. After all, everyone else is losing limbs in the game ![]() If I have a .50 caliber, it should take off limbs as well. |

An example of how I would like more gore would be like this: You shoot an enemy with a .50BMG style rifle. It leaves a hole in their body, or picks off a limb or a head. An enemy dies to an explosion. Their body is in pieces and some intestines, etc... are coming out of their stomach for example. You kill an enemy with a flamethrower. Their corpse is all burned. Shots leave visible scars to enemies. If you shoot an enemy close to you, the spattered blood that gets on you makes you easier to see. Same with stabbing. How do these examples sound like? |

Sounds like you're asking for too much with the intestines and what not. I think limb loss from explosions and high-powered rifles would be the best we get, if we get them at all. MGS3 had the soldiers burned if using fire weapons, so that could easily return. |
