If kojima is trying to portray the real brutality of war and trying to make the game seem more serious and real I think they should implement a more realistic version of fallouts gore mechanic. Plus I like the idea of having soldiers realistically react to being shot... I hate having to kill an enemy in order to make him incapable of fighting I'd rather have to shoot his leg so that way I have more options of having to eliminate someone |

I don't really have strong feelings one way or another. I imagine they will be a pretty large amount though as I get a feeling that the Paz stomach opening was just the beginning. |

Give blood some gameplay mechanics such as enemy causing alert if they find blood pool and finding dead soldiers and or the player by following the blood drops. As for gore - anything goes as long as it won't be overblown or doesn't make any sense. |

I hope that guard bodies don't dissapear in this and there will be blood trails that guards will follow if you lethal kill a guy and drag him off. |

Only time I noticed them disappearing in GZ is when I place many of them close to each other (or kill them close to each other) or throwing them off the cliff. But certainly hoping that all soldiers will stay there until they are found or mission is complete. |

Are you using checkpoints or quit & continue? That one of the cases when I notice them disappearing. Otherwise haven't detected them disappearing other than putting them very close to each other.
Most likely the game engine can't handle all the dead soldiers or it is written so that dead soldiers will disappear after X amount of time without being found. |

Both of those reasons are worrying. I hope "the mighty Fox Engine" is capable of keeping dead bodies in TPP. |

Yeah, I'm certainly hoping for the same as I don't want to spend too many ammo or explosives to create silent diversion to get past the enemy because engine can't handle it. |

Exactly, that is what i meant in the GZ section. The fox engine is far away from the best engine in the world. |

I think Kojima went way over hype with the Fox Engine, at least with what has been shown so far. The graphics are nice but theres nothing that makes my jaw drop. Honestly they should have gone with a more awe inspiring setting for GZ as it's the first time we got to see and play with the Fox Engine. |

Gore for immersion, but not for gore's sake. Excessive gore for fanservice is dumb as heck; gore for realism and immersion is fine. |

I don't care really because in the end of the day, I love gore. I know not many would love gore as much as me, but for me, I am not that bothered if you see Big Boss shooting a child in the face a million times until you see it's skull, I don't think I'd be spooked |

While I wouldn't mind having gore, it kinda risks getting an AO rating (see Manhunt 2). |

So wait, any form of violence, or extra violence automatically results in an AO rating then Mortal Kombat might have aswell been banned world wide. MGS V is not the first game to feature violence and wont be the last really. |
