THUG ROSE!
Kojima says that after almost every MGS game, plus a remake wouldn't really be another game.

Kojima admits that he says every mgs will be his last.
He says thats because he wants to make it as if it really was his last.
So he gives it his all.
Also its the reason why pretty much every mgs feels like it didnt leave it open for a sequel.

Except Peace Walker (and Ground Zeroes), yeah, they mostly felt conclusive.

i feel like peace walker and ground zeroes could have ended there.
big boss with his speech about outer heave ends the game perfectly.
and it groundzeroes. the helicopter crash with big boss going into a coma.
but maybe thats just me

Yeah, but Peace Walker ends with Paz's death being an uncertainty, as well as them predicting to be hunted by Cipher, it basically sets itself up for a sequel. Ground Zeroes obviously ends on a cliffhanger; it didn't have a shred of conclusiveness and really doesn't need since its a prologue.

Only me

How the fuck is an indefinite comma conclusive? :D
I'm not holding this against Kojima or anything because I know its a prologue, but its definitely not conclusive.

wat.

mgs1-you find out shadow moses was all a hoax orchestrated by ocelot/solidus(plus you get to know solidus exists)
mgs2-snake finds a list of names of people that have been dead for like 100 years, which are supposed to be the pats
mgs3/4-ok,maybe these two do end rather conclusively, but it still wouldnt make sense for BB to go straight from the character he portrays during the game into the bad guy from mg1
PO-ocelot says "he must come with us",that rather sets the tone for another game to take place after PO(too bad we never got to see it)
PW-i dont really remember the debriefing that well, but doesnt BB imply that theyre going to finally build outer heaven?

Not that he implies that he'll build the Outer Heaven we see in Metal Gear 1 because as far as Big Boss is concerned, Mother Base was basically Outer Heaven. He had a conference with MSF Troops and after Big Boss and Kaz acknowledge they've basically put themselves out there and that they might be headed to hell but they know what is best for them right now. Their heaven (MSF)

He mentioned something interesting... Konami, they claim that what they're doing in Casinos are the missing piece... money, to surpass video games.

Didn't Kojima swear this is his last MGS? If they get remade then someone else will have to do it
Im pretty sure every single Metal gear has been his "last" one.
MG1 was supposed to be the last; then Snakes Revenge got made so Hideo had to make a real MG2; then came Psx and so came MGS, then Ps2 so an MGS2 was necessary, but then 3 came as the last one tying everything up with Big Boss but not really 4 is the last one tying everything up with Solid Snake but not really there's a sequel to 3/prequel to 1 on PsP which'll be the last one; but also revengeance which is actually the real last one with Raiden after 4.
But Big Boss still hasn't built Outer Heaven yet so MGSV is the real last one
But then Ground Zeroes came first, which is the prologue of V; the "last" Metal Gear game.

Whenever Kojima says it's his last one, probably should just take it with a grain of salt.

I don't think there is going to be a Metal Gear Remake in TPP.
At the most an end credits scene that references the MSX game is about as much as I think would be in the game.
