Kojma nails it every time. The man can do no wrong. Have faith.
This is sarcasm, right?

I agree with swag and Max Payne here. Fuck the story. It's been several years of promised mechanics that have never been in a Metal Gear game. We know Kojima can make crazy stories. I want to see him put his money where his mouth is and show us that this game is actually open world and not just wider maps

I am concerned that it will be Peace Walker 2.0...Keep the grinding and weapon leveling out of my Metal Gear. Just give us guns, cut and dry, along with some base management.

Yeah. Base management needs to be better. I get that PW was a hanheld so the grinding helped with replay value for commuters but on console, I'm not going to be grinding for high level R&D staff. Never again.

all out.

The game looks already better than any other MGS game (judging from GZ).Gameplay is not just great but really fun and easy to get around.People should stop caring too much about story, since MGS is by far, the greatest game ever keeping an original one, that even in its greatest twists, still, manages to captivate its fanbase.

Highly doubt that grinding will return, as mentioned it was a PSP game so we can surely expect more than that guys ;)

ehh one problem... didn't kojima already confirm the return of the fulton recovery system? It could just mean that there will be certain missions where you'll have to rescue some VIP, but I highly doubt that. So yeah, grinding is probably gonna be a thing. :suicide: FML
The Boss: "it'll be THE END for the boy."

I've enjoyed every game as well. I was more reffering to the fact that Kojima has often promised big things and not delivered them. I wasn't referring to his ability as a game-maker just that I don't really trust him to deliver this grandiose open world, feature packed game without some proof

Fulton Recovery had nothing to do with grinding. Where grinding got involved was the weapons tech and mechs. Having to level up weapons is retarded. Don't ever make me do that shit again Kojima.

The thing that makes me especially wary about this open world deal is he made that promise, like 2 twice already if you count MGS4 since that did look open world but that was all just sort of scrapped later on, and MGS3 he flat out said it was going to be open world, which it was not. Third time's the charm? I hope.

I unfortunately have never played MGS4 so I cant reference what has been the most high tech installment to date (outside of GZ of course), but if games like Assassin's Creed can pull off wide open sandboxes with a base hub then Im sure PP will too.

He has said already that this is the mgs game hes wanted to make for awhile now but the technology hes had to work with wasnt capable of performing up to his standards so i think we'll be seeing hi past promises finally coming to fruition

Kojima says a lot of stuff.

I just hope he doesn't spoil the story too much with this trailer, but he probably will...

I wouldn't have made the main character be clone, the ending to be hard to continue. &More,I wouldn't have killed Liquid as being popular.

Now we can really put the clone theory to bed. :)

No, we're still going to have dense idiots who say Kojima is trolling and will continue with it because they need to add more flour to a useless log.

That English is so butchered how do you even take anything away from it? Pretty sure he is talking about things he would have changed for MG1. I don't think Solid Snake was ever meant to be a clone originally.

This. Even though I absolutely loved PW, I still remember replaying Extra OP 51 (I think it was) to get a specific S grade R&D prisoner. I replayed it so much in a single day, that I was half asleep and thinking "Just 14 more times and you'll get R&D X level team for Y weapon". It was some sorta torture. I'd never want to go through something like that again.

Also, I hope we get more gameplay than storyline and if Kojima wants to spoil something, it should be one of the beginning scenes of the game. Not the freaking ending like in GZ. However, I am still convinced that GZ was originally supposed to be part of TPP, so showing the destruction of Mother Base would be nothing, compared to what would follow in the main part of the game. That's why the trailer showed "the ending" of GZ.
