Yeah, people are really over complicating the answer to the question, which is "How does Kaz train Solid if he falls out with Big Boss in TPP?". The answer is he doesn't have a falling out with him in TPP.
Both are assumptions. It's MG that started the obvious debate. If he doesn't have a 'falling out' in TPP, MG indicates that the fall out must happen before it anyway. That part is obvious... Unless, Kaz really didn't mean it.

'Kaz falling out with BB in TPP', 'Kaz falling out with BB in some other time' and 'Kaz and BB being always BFF' are assumptions, stop acting like you know which one is true.

I think they'll still be in cahoots until the Outer Heaven Uprising. Then again he didn't let Big Boss know he knew about the sons. He only informed Big Boss about using Zero to expand MSF.
i seriously can not wait for that reaction moment from big boss when he finds out he has sons that are cloned from him.
Sadly he already knows, though it was completely brushed over with, there should have been a huge focus on this, but it happened at the end of Portable Ops, which was poorly done and it missed out no what could have been one of the most haunting moments for Big Boss.

I predict Kaz will be retconned into a new character, dies, and Boss takes his trench coat.
i'm fine with retcons, but that would be super dumb.
PEACE will come.

How does he have a falling out with him before MG? They are both with FOXHOUND during MG. Kaz calls him a monster during MG2.

You know, I am curious. Kaz knows Outer Heaven will be conducted by Big Boss and he'll be alongside him in TPP with the building of Outer Heaven...So I wonder exactly if the departure, if Kaz does leave Big Boss, is mutual or out of hatred

Yes, this is very worrying! :D

[Kaz]
This place, Outer Heaven, is that anything to do with you?

[Big Boss]
No! Copy cat, most definitely a copy cat. Anyway I'm here all the time.

[Kaz]
No, you're always going to South Africa every week!?

[Big Boss]
That's because it has the world's leading prosthetic hand repair shop...I can't have everyone thinking I have one arm...

[Kaz]
...Fair enough ;) Boss, what are you going to do about Gray Fox?

[Big Boss]
Don't worry, I have the perfect person to rescue him

It i just interesting to be honest. Big Boss was a part of FOXHOUND when he would betray Solid Snake and it seems like Kaz was involved in FOXHOUND too...I also still assume heavily that we'll start off the raw works of the fortress in TPP. Building a Metal Gear is one thing, building a fortress is another. I am just wondering what Kaz means when he calls him a monster. Either the events of the 1995 or if Skullface + Big Boss mean something that pisses on Kaz

Of course, there's also the chance Kaz never said anything and was part of it all, but just stayed with FOXHOUND after Big Boss "died". But where's the jeopardy in that? ;)

One of my biggest disappointments in PW is that the LET project was mentioned only once and his involvement with the Patriots wasn't even discussed. It's like Kojima forgot about those things during development.

Kojima says phantom ends with the creation of outer heaven( obviously there will be more to the ending than he is revealing) but this implies that during this game we will see big boss regain control of foxhound and that we will most likely see solid snake...unless this is one of the canon events changed because according to kojima, it will be to tell a story.

You're right, now change MG for MG2 and the argument still stands, which is... IT'S JUST AN ASSUMPTION. Either way, Kaz said that BB was a monster for a number of reasons he knew even before MG. People's doubts are reasonable. Again, stop being so arrogant. Please? xD

Does anyone else understand what Oblivious is saying?

The question was, "How does Kaz train Solid if he falls out with Big Boss in TPP?". So I replied with:-

Big Boss and Kaz join FOXHOUND.
Kaz trains Solid Snake.
Big Boss goes rouge.
Big Boss leaves FOXHOUND.
Kaz stays in FOXHOUND.
Kaz calls Big Boss a monster.
Big Boss "dies"
Kaz dies.
Big Boss dies.

Which is how it's possible. (minus the spelling mistake and with the addition of the first Big Boss death)

And you say "both assumptions" yet I only say one thing "he doesn't have a falling out with him in TPP". What's the other one? And how is it an assumption? Why would Kaz join Big Boss in FOXHOUND if they had already parted ways?

If you swap MG for MG2, then surely he calls him a monster because of what he did in Outer Heaven?

Only you are calling me arrogant. No one else has a problem.

I believe his point was that any information taken from MG and MG2 are not fixed and therefore can change, making that answer unclear and uncertain.

But he definitely does train Solid Snake, falling out or no falling out. And if it's not fixed (which I agree is in the air), there is no reason to believe that Kaz and Big Boss weren't best of friends during those games.
