I mentioned this before, but here is my opinion: Great graphics are fine and all, and are very impressive during your first few hours of the game. However, after 20-30 hours into the game, you stop caring about why this plant is not casting better shadows, and start appreciating the fact that the gameplay is this smooth. So 60 fps is almost certainly better in the long run.
I'm glad to hear that I'm not the only one who thinks that way. As long as the lack of shadow doesn't affect the gameplay, I don't care if it doesn't show or not.
people actually give a fuck about shadows?
When people start to over analyze videos, it seems so.

Part of me wishes that as well. That way if there ever will be a PC version (it seems likely) I could have both killer graphics and 60fps :P

Does anybody recall a tweet made by someone that saw this demo at E3, stating that there's a huge spoiler at the start? I can't remember who tweeted it but I do remember it and the fact that he said he wouldn't reveal the spoiler because it's quite big. Having seen the demo, I wonder what the spoiler is? Maybe we can't hear it because of everyone talking in the studio?

We can't really judge how much detail there is due to the map itself being drastically changed from last year and the poor resolution on the new image. The colour palette looks less like Africa now and a little more like Afghanistan with a lot more dust. All of this adds to the feeling that there is more blur and less detail.

This definitely. There's a hell of a lot less rocks and grasses. It won't break the game but it'd sure be nice to have them. I'll agree with Risev on this one, just how much am I really going to care about those few rocks being cut out?

I hope we get some HQ screens soon so we can accurately compare texture quality, from the looks of it though it looks the same.

i like that guards change shifts, this means depending on what time of day we decide to infiltrate a base we will get a different amount of guards and different patrol routes, so your playthrough during the day will be different from your playthrough at night, i love that replayability, memorizing patrol routes have plagued stealth games in the past,

i hope in the final version that using fulton will attract nearby enemies

the cross in the middle of the binoculars kind of annoyed me after playing so many hours of ground zeroes

as a mgs pro let me bless you scrubs with my opinion of the gameplay demonstration

PROS:
-the world truly does appear as big as they said...finally done with the lies about gameplay freedom? this looks like the jungle we were sposeta get in MGS3
-finding things throughout the world will add to exploration like looking for diamonds. definite plus
-managing motherbase in the field feels more natural and fluid and less like a chore. developing a gun and having it delivered to you is dope. makes me hope for timed development, if i see a tank up ahead i could cal MB to develop a law and go chill and wait til its done.
-cardboard box has some neat new tricks/calling in airstrikes basically the whole thing made it seem like BB really WAS in charge of all these soldiers
-the subtle joke of the e cigar having weed in it
-motherbase looks insane jesus christ and customizeable? def making my own big shell if thats the case
-multiple waypoints
-fulton system costing money having a probability and being able to fulton more stuff

CONS:
-talking during a gameplay presentation -__-
-person playing knew everything already. i like seeing people fuck up, and not just on purpose lol
-the e-cigar timeskip
-ai still retarded
-the game still has base building
-the nagging feeling in the back of my head that most of these features wont make it to the final game...
