GDC all the way. The music and the setting and the craziness was just so amazing. Maybe that's just because it was the first official reveal but it's definitely my favorite

A tie between the GDC and E3 2014 trailers, closely followed by the E3 2013 trailer.
You too have known loss, and that loss torments you still. You hope hatred might someday replace the pain, but it never goes away.

kojima is incredible! how the fuck have i not seen that?!
The reveal trailer was the best for me, Garbage is much better than Celine Dion lite, the worst without doubt was the 2014 E3 one, it looked like some fanmade video from youtube.

All are great had a hard time choosing but I picked the latest one because of how the lyrics of the song goes with the story.
But if you give the choice, I'd pick all of them.
I was about to pick the debut trailer which is weird considering Bladewolf picked it :P

Well, considering both the GDC and the E3 2014 trailers had the same style of "editing", I'm inclined to say that you're just intentionally pissing people of now.

I love all of the trailers... the amazing thing is that for most of the trailers I've been introduced to some really great music. Great choices, Kojima.

Fan made? Lol. I know you hate MGS, Blade, but sometimes your comments are just plain silly.

GDC 2013. It all made sense (unlike E3 2014), wasn't too revealing (unlike E3 2013), and it got us talking about all those supernatural elements. The song is a fantastic fit for the trailer, and honestly it's the one that gets me the most excited for the game.
Wasn't too revealing? It showed the ending to Ground Zeroes, the 2013 trailer only showed the missiom rescuing Kaz, the new characters, Paz getting the bomb out of her womb, and gameplay. Showing the ending is more revealing than seeing glimpses of what I've mentioned.

E3 2013 for me. Like others have said, E3 2014 blended together a lot better but last year's trailer was really our first true look at The Phantom Pain. It's where we got all those character reveals, true look at open world, and wasn't it the first time we heard KieferSnake?

Plus Sins of the Father...

I don't really like Sins of the Father all that much. Mike Oldfield made the MGS V trailer this year.

I must say all the trailer song choices so far are really great. :) Sins of the Father is awesome, but that autotune moment ruined it a bit for me. I hope it was just for the trailer (to coincide with the visuals).

I will have to go for E3 2013, the levels of epicness were just amazing

This line alone 2013>2014.

Totally forgot about that, kudos to Robin Atkin-Downes for that monologue. Amazing stuff.

That monologue is what I always reference when people say Robin sucked in GZ. It was more the script than his acting.

Agreed, not many actors can make a line like "They played us like a damn fiddle!" taken seriously.

Wow alot of love from Hollywood for the MGS V E3 2014 trailer

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is a stunning presentation. The trailer is full of symbolism and philosophy that we come to expect from Mr. Kojima. Although cleverly disguising the story and therefore making the trailer enticing, Mr. Kojima makes sure to include enough visuals to make us comfortable that we are in for a new Metal Gear experience. For me, the sight of the Diamond Dogs and Snake putting the ashes on his face with multiple urns make me believe that a lot of history is going to be dealt with. If one listens carefully to the amazing song, Nuclear by Mike Oldfield, it is fantastic story telling that gives us enough of a window to know we are about to embark on another emotional masterpiece by Mr. Kojima. Kiefer Sutherland as the voice of Snake is just fantastic while raising the drama, and makes us long to play the game.
- Avi Arad, Producer: Spider-Man, X-Men

Watching the trailers for MGSV makes you wonder if the spirits of Dostoyevsky, Stanley Kubrick, and Caravaggio entered Hideo Kojima's body because, using the art of gaming as his canvas, he boldly goes where no one has gone before. The trailers for Metal Gear Solid V, prove once again that Hideo Kojima is a master at portraying a wider and more complex view of human nature combined with breathtaking action sequences. A daring and bold move from one of the founders of the future of technology. With Metal Gear Solid V, Hideo Kojima has created the perfect marriage of cinematic storytelling and cutting edge gaming technology. For me, it all culminates into one word: Genius.
- Nicolas Winding Refn, Regie: Drive, Only God Forgives

Kojima-San remains a massive inspiration for me and METAL GEAR continues to deliver the edgy, vital, jaw-dropping world and feel that we have come to expect but it pushes the envelope every single time. It is a window into the future of the medium and its breathless narrative and artistic expansion. Amazing!
- Guillermo del Toro, Regie: Pan's Labyrinth, Pacific Rim

I have always been thinking that I want to see a film directed by Mr. Kojima, but after seeing the latest trailers for Metal Gear Solid V, I realised I was wrong. He has actually been making films in his own way already. Metal Gear Solid games are already films, the films of the future.
- PARK Chan-Wook, Regie: Oldboy, Stoker

Wow! That is AMAZING! So beautiful … So well done. You guys created such an incredible piece of art.
- Norman Reedus, Schauspieler: Der Blutige Pfad Gottes, The Walking Dead
