It doesn't look like the Metal Gear from MG1 because it's safe to assume Zeke is completely destroyed in this game, because we never hear about it again, and they start from scratch building D for MG1 |

There is no telling to whatever happened before the attack, though. They could've exported Zeke for all we know. Hell, we aren't even sure if MSF hid Zeke on mother base, rather than somewhere out of reach from the "inspectors". If it were a real inspection, I'd imagine that you can't simply lock a door and say "you can't look there", it'd defeat the purpose of the investigation. My initial guess is that Zeke never was destroyed |

ZEKE was placed on the bottom of the ocean to hide it. |

how epic would this game be if it covered from 84 to mg1 or mg2.. it would be like one of those epic films that cover a huge story or period of time. |

It does look to be pretty long, but other than a possible flash-forward ending to 1995, I doubt the game will go beyond 1985. |
You too have known loss, and that loss torments you still. You hope hatred might someday replace the pain, but it never goes away.![]() ![]() Spoiler: click to toggle

Oh, then it's possible that Skull Face plotted to steal Zeke? Or that Zeke even stood idle for 9 years (or whenever Ocelot and Miller extracted it). IMO, Zeke being recovered is better than having yet another Metal Gear. I'd love it if Skully ended up stealing it |

Doesn't it look to large to be Zeke? at least I thought so. I think it's just whatever Huey's been working on. |

It might not be ZEKE itself, but a MG modeled after it. It certinally looks different from the MG1/2 Metal Gears and it can't be REX, as some suggested. |

It can't be REX anyways unless the development info gets retconned and I wouldn't want that because that would mean that They've gone from REX to TX-55 to D to REX again... |

Maybe Huey didn't actually hide Zeke, but instead offered or gave it to skullface for whatever reason. |

we all know that huey gave permission for the so called "un nuclear inspection" however he had valid reasons for doing so as it would cause less suspicion if they allowed the inspection to go ahead. i wonder what the reason is behind him being tortured.. |

whats obvious?? also the timeline at the end of ground zeroes goes all the way to 2009 so surely this could mean mgsv explains the events between ground zeroes and 2009, a time scale which metal gear 1 and two take place. also it wouldnt mention about the south african facility if it was not significant i think.... who knows |
