I'm looking very forward to the upcoming title, as MGS has always been one of my most favorite series. There are things I'm worried about and things I am looking forward to in the next title. Some of the things I hope make it in TPP can be seen below: MGO - I want this to be a seamless experience between Single Player and Multiplayer. How this would work is you would create your online character, who would be a member of Big Boss's Diamond Dogs crew -- you can assign callsigns (or display names) to members you recruit, and the way multiplayer would work would be by setting up a mission in a Mission Room at Mother Base. YOu can select from a few story based missions in the same vain of what PW had to offer, as well as competitive and advesarial missions. You are linked with multiple players in one online region sort of the same way that Red Dead Redemption and GTA V is in a freeroam upon making it to the LZ as your online player, or one of Big Boss's henchmen. You can then tackle different missions you've assigned yourself with objectives, and these objectives can be taken in any order of your choice. You will be out there competing with other PMC's (or from their eyes, Big Boss's recruit.) And they will also have different missions, control zones, and intel that they'll be racing to get which can result in many heated situations. You can pair up with other PMC's, and if you die in Online Mode while completing a mission, that recruit you sent out dies in Single Player giving some real risk vs reward. Once you have successfully completed your objectives, you can call in a helo to take you back to mother base, giving you a bunch of diamond cash and exp for your recruits and for future upgrades. Thats just a basic idea anyway. I want to see CQC ala MGS 4 make its return with some upgrades. I'm not so fond of what looks to be a more Splinter Cell Conviction system. In my opinion MGS 4 had the best close combat of any game I played. I too would like to see a survival stamina/health system that was seen in Snakeater. In an Open World, it fits well. Aside from that, everything is looking good. I can't wait to see what MGO is going to be like in this next release. |

I just want an upgraded MGO2 with PW's co-op thrown in. MGO2 was just about perfect |

Keep the original competitive nature that MGO2 had in one setting and all that co-op/brown nosing Big Boss as recruits & mission stuff in another. |

A long range sniping mode in mgo would be sweet. I'm sure there would have to be vehicle vs mode as well, but judging by gz's tanks, that match wouldn't last very long. Unless the players are able to customize and build on their vehicles, then that would be pretty cool I guess |

I would like to see the following: 1) Clans (Emblem & Hub) - It would be great if each clan could build its own Mother Base that they can design to their liking which can be attacked by other clans. - I loved the concept of having a clan emblem, and for MGO3, you can put this emblem on your armor and Mother Base (as the 'Diamond Dog' one appears all around Mother Base in single player). 2) Various Game Modes - Team Sneak, Base, Team Deathmatch; etc. However, given our new open world scope, I have a feeling 'game modes' will be making a shallow return - if at all. 3) Character Customization - MGO2 did a great job with this, hope to see it arrive again in MGO3. 4) Glitch Free Online - Self-explanatory for everyone who has played MGO2. 5) The MGS Feeling - Keep the 'tactical' gameplay experience in-tact. My wish is that online does not become a sort of run and gun arcade shooter. I am not too worried about this but it something worth mentioning. I like your idea about using Mother Base soldiers recruited from online and the 'risk vs reward' which that entails. We can only wait and see what Kojima and the multiplayer team has in store. |
