because i get attacked by a wolf im going to be like:  why? wolves don't attack humans, i don't need to be constantly shooting stuff or attacked to be interested in a game or its wildlife, thankfully this is not an ubisoft, EA, activision, or rockstar production that hinges on constant action as its selling point
Where have you heard wolves don't attack people? Oh they definitely attack and kill humans.

regurgitated it from other ill-informed people like myself
It's fine, I guess it could depend on where you live and the breeds in the area maybe...I'dunno. It's a myth for a reason, I just know I'm gonna get a few so I can stick em on enemy soldiers. ^_^

I just hope hostile animals won't start being a phantom pain in the arse like they were in RDR.

I liked it, I remember it had its terrible spots here & there maybe that should be avoided, then it would get worse at night. But it seemed realistic enough to me without being overkill. I never really had a problem with it to the point it became a huge nuisance and took away from the game. But usually didn't go out too far at night to avoid the wild life unless I was feeling ballsy lol, but I got a kick out of it. I wouldn't mind TPP being on about the same level as RDR.

It wasn't a nuisance if you were to blitz across the map, but you'd run into problems if you were walking or going slowly with a horse. Wich was one of the main things i loved to do. It was hard to enjoy the scenery most times especially in the tall trees area where bears would spawn one after the other. Such a waste of a beautiful area of the map.

As far as i remember though towns had generous safe zones surrounding it. That seems to be the case with TPP since the open ended infiltration the game encourages wouldn't work any other way. I also doubt wolves (or other animals) will be target you automatically. The pack of wolves seemed to leave snake alone in the demo.

I liked the realism of the more heavily populated areas should be safe while the wild is a bit more dangerous and then night time is even more dangerous with the wildlife. But right, it seems like the animals won't immediately react in TPP judging from the pack of wolves. Maybe they'll also have some type of AI where they'll hesitate to attack if you're facing them or something like that. It'd be nice to have some type of survival instincts that work in-game against the wildlife as well.

It would be nice to see the wildlife randomly affecting how you infiltrate an enemy stronghold. Like if there were a pack of lions/hyenas etc. close to a route you can choose so you can either plan another route or take them on and maybe wasting supplies or risking the enemy from hearing you or even dying.

I thought I'd bump this now that bears are confirmed in Afghanistan, and also that Snake can collect small animals in his pockets!

So if there are 2 dangerous predators in Afghanistan with wolves and bears, what could there be in Central Africa, Leopards and Lions?

Yeah probably lions and all that stuff. Would there be stuff like rhodesian ridgebacks too? Perhaps there'd be rhinos as well.

Unlikely to be feral ones, but I'd like to see the fully realised guard dog system, there were hints of it in the Ground Zeroes code I think?

I hope you can capture an elephant and develop battle armor for it, and then ride it through Afghanistan. Actually an elephant stealth suit would be pretty sweet.

You stop right fucking there and apologies Infiltrator . CIA is many things; a has been meme master, a baneposter who ran it to the ground so bad to where it stopped being funny, a complete and utter podcast tsundere but I will NOT allow you to call him a shitty Gary Stu who killed a 7 part book series. That's just mean and unfair.

Sorry if I sound angry but this was too much, even with the strike in mind.

Yeah I think there was something like that in code. If this is in the game, it will make the game have even more variety in the stealth gameplay and types of enemies, patrol patterns, etc. Please let this be true.

Oh my yes! Stuff like that would be great. An elephant stealth suit that also silences their footsteps would be hilarious.

BTW the D-Horse is invincible, right? If so, then that kinda is weird to me.

I'm not convinced about D-Horse being invincible yet, they said he was but maybe he just takes a lot of damage. I'll have to try it for myself :/

I hope the animals come in handy with the location in which Snake is infiltrating.
Supposedly, interacting with the animals, like shooting a bird would distract the guards, or, ordering a falcon or something to poop on a guard would be cool.

I think that CodeTalker will have an influence with working one with nature, animals etc...

I'm sure as we progress in the game, snake will generate new skills which will come in handy for later on.

Yeah. If he's invincible then that would make his armour pointless. So perhaps you're right and he just takes tons of damage.
