That share button is going to be useful for reporting but they should add in-game reporting system to whoever is moderating the place with ability to link videos to them for quicker respond than being forced to download that thing to your PC and sending it that way to them. |

Guys, discuss and give feedback to this post made from KPLA on twitter today: "Competitive game tournaments range from elimination models, to group and multi-stage models and more. What's your favorite tourney model?" Please refrain from saying "just stick to the MGO2 model". Give some constructive insight and offer new alternatives. Edited by Solidus Reborn, Feb 18 2015, 08:42:18 PM.

As soon as I get out of work (I read the tweet here, but my office is like a dungeon, so I can't tweet myself from in here)... (and I do like to tweet myself in my dungeon)... I'll be replying saying multi-stage matches would be neat, especially if the progression is particularly conditional. |

It'd be nice for a losers bracket to start up after the first round. Kinda sucks when you get matched up against a tough team right away and instantly done for the night. |

- Events, such as: "The top 10 players with the most XP earned this week will win an exclusive Sneaking Suit" - New XP ranks along with new unlockables for each rank, once in a while. - "Mini Metal Gear" mode, An one man army mode, everyone is controlling a Mini Metal Gear and has to blast everyone else, make 3 types for this mode: 1. Kills - Respawns available. The player who reaches a specific amount of kills wins. 2. Last Man Standing - No Respawns, once you are dead, you are spectating until the round is over. You simply have to be the last one standing and you win the round, the one with the most rounds won, wins the game. 3. Timer - This is like the first one. Only now, for winning the game you need to have the most kills in a specific amount of time. |

They're not really looking for game modes, but a structure/template to use to run tournaments for MGO3. |

@MetalGearOnline literally JUST tweeted they're having little mock-tournaments within their own organization, presumably using suggestions put forth by the public. Sounds like a good sign to me. |

Metal Gear Online @MetalGearOnline 18h18 hours ago Competitive game tournaments range from elimination models, to group and multi-stage models and more. What's your favorite tourney model? MGOFeedback @MGOFeedback 18h18 hours ago @MetalGearOnline I've never experienced a multi-stage model. I like the sound of it. Can you elaborate? Metal Gear Online @MetalGearOnline 18h18 hours ago @MGOFeedback a good example would be the NFL where segments achieve points that incorporate them into a 'playoff', ending in a final game I'm digging the multi-stage model. |

Im open to any tournament model, but the way these events are executed, moderated, and balanced is what worries me. Weekly events could give other players a chance to get unique stuff outside of tournaments, these events could have goals that the entire community would have to work together to reach, or make it more personal with unique goals for each player. call me old-fashioned,but i think single elimination tournaments are the way to go in practice.i understand that the other models might sound better to people who intend to invest a lot of time in the game, but for those of us who don't have as much time for gaming as we used to,it's much better to get online, play the tournament and either get eliminated once you lose and go on your business or carry on playing for 2 hours max and win the tournament. |

Yeah, single or even double elimination would be fine. We don't need anything more than that for tournaments. I wonder if survival will even return(I hope it does) What if GP doesn't return though. What would be the incentive to play survival then?

I like multi-stage because it gives you a second chance if you have an off match. If we didn't have a survival adaptation, would you change your opinion on tournament structure? |

If there is no survival? Oh definitely would go for multi-stage tournaments. Ones that could last a long time though lol. Survival in mgo 2 was 4 hours long but felt like 2. Edited by WaterN-ice, Feb 20 2015, 04:46:57 AM.

yeah, but survival was different.it was completely fine to play a few games and just go offline if you had to.tournament on the other hand,it will just suck if they make it last that long. single elimination or maybe double elimination at best is totally fine. Why are you guys so confident that all the tournaments *have* to be set up the same way, at the same time? A multiplayer game this size, with this following could easily have multiple tournaments running at the same time. As long as enough company support is behind them. I for one would love to have the option of choosing from a longer/larger multi-staged setup if I know I'm going to have the time or a shorter, straight single elimination for when I don't want to play for many hours or if I just don't have the time. If resources do end up limiting the community to only one tournament at a time, then they could just place the different modes, tears, elimination setups, and etc. into a rotation of some sort. This would allow a broader range of the community a chance to be a part of the more competitive side. |

i could get behind this a bit more easily, but i doubt the player base will be big enough to justify doing that. don't get me wrong,i do believe this game will have more people playing than either mgo1 or mgo2,but i still don't think it will be a major blockbuster. |

A question was sorta answered from KPLA regarding leveling from our MGOFeedback twitter page: MGOFeedback þ@MGOFeedback · 2h2 hours ago @MetalGearOnline (1) Can you elaborate on the MGO preorder bonuses? (2) Does the XP bonus imply the you can't be de-leveled? @MGOFeedback We haven't explained the XP system, so no it doesn't imply it one way or another I guess there is still hope for a leveling system reflective of skill, not hours played... ![]() EDIT UPDATE: MGOFeedback @MGOFeedback · 8m8 minutes ago @MetalGearOnline Okay. Can we expect a discussion of these kinds of in-game details before September 1, 2015? @MGOFeedback of course, there's plenty we plan on revealing and discussing with players leading up to launch, and new opportunities as well MGOFeedback @MGOFeedback · now @MetalGearOnline Okay, great. MGO fans are discussing today's reveal(s) in the 2 MGO threads @ http://mgsforums.com/forum/3011490/ Thank you for support! Edited by Solidus Reborn, Mar 4 2015, 05:54:12 PM.
