Co-Op Campaign Missions - Not sure if this is considered the MGO side of things, but if there is a feature like PW to have you with 2-3 friends working on a campaign mission, that would be awesome!

Totally agreeing on this one! Given the open environment of MGSV, we could have Co Op missions where a few players work together to, say, reach and assassinate a target, or neutralise all enemies in an outpost. |

Everything in the OP to this thread are the biggest things I'm really hoping come back. Give us a good meta-game and that'll keep us motivated to play the actual game and hastily make us cash out for DLC ;). Personally I'd be really happy with what MGO2 had going on with the Reward Point Shop, Player Stats, and Weekly Events. Competitive Side - I'm not going to beg for much but I would really like if MGO3 took influence from a lot of the other competitive games around. Make the game a level playing field right from the start, so no weapon loadouts! Personally I'd love for a system near identical with MGO2 where you earn Drebin Points by getting kills. I could see GMP from the single-player crossing into MGO3 and acting as Drebin Points. |

i want basically what every other user said in this thread, but i have to stress these ones in particular: -Free Battle and custom servers: So we can make our own room, with specific rules and restrictions. This is very important. Matchmaking is very restrictive and takes a lot of the fun away. - Animal ranks and dynamic leveling: keep the leveling as it was on MGO2. If you do good, you are boosted up, if you perform poorly, you should level down. This adds a crazy amount of logevity on the online portion and keeps it interesting -Standalone Knife : it's very important for modes like TSNE and it's cool to mess around in "knife only rooms", etc (again the importance of custom servers and rooms) -Weekly Survival and Tournament modes: with prizes involved to get reward/GMP to buy Gear and win unique items, etc Edited by _se7en_, Dec 23 2014, 12:47:47 PM.

Penalty System MGO3 needs some type of penalty system so players are discouraged from quitting the match if they are losing. Possibly prevent the user from gaining experience or join certain matches after reaching a certain percentage of quits. |

If I remember correctly there was a tempban system installed if you left too many games consecutively in MGO2. So yeah I'd definetely like to see that make a return. |

If the levelling system is the same as MGO2 e.g going up and down, then a tempban system is key to keep players in the games, so they cant just leave on a bad game and not have points taken away. |

Custom Servers Being able to host your own games and having the freedom to tweak it with many options is essential and it gives a freedom to the individual player that most games lack. Sneaking Mission Snake can have a default camo for each map making him invisible when laying on ground and when pressed against a wall. Or some special camo/suit which makes him invisible. Not Stealth because it's better if he's not invisible while running/standing up so you need to be more careful when playing as Snake. Text Chat Headset is never enough. Character Creation Would make sense to make it so you chose from many different faces. And voice and perhaps more. Character Customisation MGO2 did this right with the Reward Shop. However, an in-game system would be better instead of a slow website. I want to earn gear such as different uniforms and not have them automatically given to me in DLC's. Skills MGO2's skill system was interesting and fun. However, being able to chose more skills would be better. CQC EX made your character super slow so would be good to have let's say 6 or 8 skill slots if EX takes 4. Skill system is very important to make MGO feel unique and for it to be a game that has an emphasis on choice. Realistic Damage If I'm on a Gatling emplacement I don't want to get blown up and have the Gatling destroyed by someone firing one bullet from a heavy sniper or someone blasting a few shotgun rounds from medium range. Gatling's should be OP. If you don't like it then host a game with weapons like that disabled. And headshot should be a kill. Don't force people to use specific weapons to get kills by headshot. Weapons Make weapons balanced. No PW situation (everyone using the ADM65 because it's ridiculously accurate and powerful). But if there will be such weapons then let us have the option to disable them. Edited by Danne Smeed, Dec 23 2014, 04:42:07 PM.

The one thing i want to see fixed is to have your character actually hold the gun when you have it equiped and not just pull it out when aiming. Everything else gamplay wise, idont want to touch on until a beta is released or something, because we need to realize tpp will not play like mgs4 so making it have all the same things that game had will probably not work that well. The whole games mechanics would have to be changed. But other then that. Customization is. a must, seriously it needs to have more then mgo2 and more indepth if possible The clan options to be IN GAME, not this "log into our social website to manage clans" bs Higher resolution emblems, mgo2 let you make it in 16 bit w 8 colors this could be expanded on and have a much higher resolution but not a crazy one, cause the emblems are small anyway The free battle lobby, where if you make a custom game it automatically switches to unranked And ranked games cannot be password locked, so no boosting Have all weapons available to everyone from the start, no level restrictions of any kind. Weapon selection, should be the classic weapon window we are all used too. Where you pick a primary secondary and support weapon, at the start of a match and after a death. Also be able to pick music that will play during the match Animal ranks, and rank shirts. This should always be there, it basically shows how the persons play style is like and even their preferred game mode. Since mgo was in pre alpha, the trailer, especially when you look at the other team, it looks akward almost as if tpps gameplay doesnt mesh well with how people want mgo. They showed alot of cool shit sure but would it really be the same if the enemy team was actually fighting back? |

Worst idea I've seen in a long time. What if you prefer to only play custom or to do so most of the time? Then the stats wouldn't be close to accurate. This would only strengthen elitism like people who play alot of custom games would never be accepted in Survival/Tournament by players with "good" stats, just like MGO2. So people would feel forced to play in ranked games to get accurate stats. Especially if they don't know people on MGO. This won't be a problem for me personally but I'm thinking about the community as a whole. Edited by Danne Smeed, Dec 23 2014, 04:56:15 PM.

Agree though, the trailer itself makes no sense (Gameplay wise). No one ever will play like that, not even on sv or tournys tbh. They just wanted to show us some "Beauty play" and how it suppose to be played but in the end we all know how this gonna be play out

They aren't getting an accurate representation of your stats. If you can beast it up in (Hypothetically) Knife Only rooms but suck in the regular rules then your stats won't reflect accurately for survival ruleset, which is what people are looking for. What you just described is the opposite of accurate stats. The problem with MGO2 was how easy it was to boost stats with those custom rules, it's why GP ended up being the only stat to matter. It was incredibly easy to setup a private password-locked, custom game that was ranked to get high K/D, Animal Ranks, and levels. |

Your kidding me right? People who play custom lobbies do so for fun, or for an added challenge by either removing or adding stuff, whoever it shouldnt affect stats because you are not playing by the standard rule set or competitive in this case. There wont be as much elitism as mgo2 because its simple as this, if you can play good in standard matches then you will have good stats and those stats will only reflect the way you play in competitive matches and not overall, its the whole point of why people look at your stats as a reference to how you play, if you suck, then ofcourse its going to be harder for you to find a team, its always been this way in all forms of competitive games. And who cares if you like playing custom matches, you can still do that, its just not going to benefit you in terms of leveling up, not that that even matters in terms of progression. Not guns to unlock and such. Edited by (SGR) SEAN, Dec 23 2014, 07:02:38 PM.

Nice, I hope it makes a return as well. I can't stand it when players start to quit mid-game just because they are on the losing end. |

Ha, that would be interesting indeed. Limb shots would affect your performance, like a shot in the arm would adversely affect your aim, and a shot in the leg would slow down/cripple you rather badly. Kind of like Fallout. |
