It somewhat bothered me in GZ that Snake could sprint forever. Could there be some sort of stamina system that depletes after things like sprinting and climbing? The lower the stamina, the longer it takes time to do things actions like climbing and steadying your aim.

Yeah, agreed about the stamina limit thing. I don't mind it in the single player, but if everyone in MGO started running like this without any limits it would be kind of ridiculous.

^ I also wanted to say I agree with what Kestrel said. Running full sprint needs to be balanced somehow. Running in MGSV is like what it would be like if there was a Runner 6 skill in MGO 2 (Heck it's almost Runner 10 in mgsv).

Maybe make it skill based again? That fast sprint we see in the trailer should be the max level for running. Then each skill below that gets slower.

Or forget a runner skill and just add back the health/stamina bar in the top left like the past 2 mgo's. And running would deplete your stamina. You have to wait for it to fill up or look for rations. ;)

I also agree with what (SGR) SEAN wrote about guns staying equipped in player hands. I don't like how it just appears when you aim and then disappears.

oh something i'm not sure someone mentioned yet:is there any chance we can finally see invencibility-frames(i.e. the split second when players were impervious to damage after taking damage) tonned down,if not removed outright? in my opinion this was one of the worse issues that plagued MGO2.

Penalty System
MGO3 needs some type of penalty system so players are discouraged from quitting the match if they are losing. Possibly prevent the user from gaining experience or join certain matches after reaching a certain percentage of quits.
That also needs some sort of safeguard since I've seen plenty of times when people just leave the game idling instead of quitting to gain experience/whatever the prize is for participating and being even bigger liability for the team than actually playing. Something like general knowledge for everyone if some player haven't done anything for 2 minutes so the player can be voted to kick.

Teamkillers should be punished for killing teammates, not only by disqualifying from the match. They should loose a level or so. MGO 2 had clans only for teamkilling lol

if they keep the same character system(allowing you to create as manny alts as you want) that really won't cut it.plus people made up whole game modes based around TK'ing(zombie).imo the only option is to just play in rooms with TK turned off.


sadly,towards the end of mgo you hardly ever saw a decent room being hosted(at least in the EU server).people were actually leveling skills in the very last day mgo was up...

This why i said waaay back in the mgo discussion thread, you should only have one character, but be able to edit him whenever you want, like change the voice and face and maybe name, but the name
Should be limited to like a monthly thing.

Unfortunately even though the making multiple characters thing is something i liked in mgo, there has to be a sacrifice to avoid the things that also plagued mgo2.
Alot of problems came from alt characters.

And i had found out some things to exploit about either the kick system or the block system.
Got blocked? No problem, just use a character the other guy doesnt know about, and keep ruining his day, got kicked? Just wait for the game to switch to the next map and you can rejoin no problem. Or just use another character, and if you had all 8 slots, then you had 8 tries at basically trolling someone, or just joining the same game you got kicked from because "you kept rushing"

i disagree with that actually.sometimes you just wanted to have a mess around character,such as my stun only alt.since the general MGO mentality was that if you had crap stats you were a crappy player 100% of the time, this system at least allowed you to play for fun when you wanted to.

Yea but if you included what i said about custom games being unranked it would sorta balance out.
Unfortunatlely if you somehow get bad stats when you play in ranked games then you just
Suck and shouldnt play competitively, and since mgo has no items that are level restricted you wont really need to level up at all, if you want to play for fun, you always can.

meh,personally i think the old character system was fine,if you wanted to keep people from abusing it(which i do agree that some did) just restrict your new characters to one per month or something like that.

we saw from the trailer that you can change faces mid-battle, since the guy goes from white to black to kiefersnake. so odds are, it won't be a 'pick a face and stick with it' kind of deal like with mgo2.

skull face being playable, music selection options which also include classic bb era themes like mgs3 boss music, mpo and pw, and i'm set.

Well some would, i know i wouldnt be changing the face that frequently, maybe for like certain occasions.. Still want to be able to scan my face though and record my own codec lines... That would be sweet.

Not to mention that even if they take out MGO2's system, wouldn't anyone be able to create "Alts" by just using a different PSN account?

Unless they block it by IP or something you'll never get rid of people using Alts.

Alts werent a problem tbh, shutting down the servers and making all the purchases invalid so quickly was though. I dont know if i'll ever buy konami dlc again, multiplayer anyways.
