The biggest Boss of them all!
Holy fuck! That whole Skullface being a hallucination part fits perfectly into my theory. Damn this trailer is incredible!

WHAT, SWEEP?!
Did anyone else notice the cassette tape Big Boss picks up early on in the trailer has "From the Man Who Sold the World" written on it? Not "The Man Who Sold the World", but "From the Man Who Sold the World" - so maybe this is a cassette for Big Boss from Zero?

Also that part when the horns burst through the ground in the desert. Maybe it's an implication that the horn isn't real either.
Not really hard to imagine when watching him walk down the hallway, no horn, small horn, then holy fuck you got a butcher knife sticking out of your temple!
Yeah it's like the horn gets bigger every time he does some evil shit. I think it's just a physical manifestation of his inner badness working its way out.

Doesn't Ocelot talk about Skull Face's past in the beginning? Guess he's real.
Yh he does, but strange enough the voice is over a BB scene. Again bringing confusion to the entity of SF. He could be real, but there is just as much pointing toward him being a ghost, hence the titular 'a ghost without a past'.

The text on the cassette tape that Big Boss is handling, reads "from the man who sold the world".

That man is Skull Face. That description to me is more applicable to Skully than it is to Zero.
Skull Face gives Big Boss that cassette tape. The content of that tape is probably the lines we heard Skull Face speaking in the trailer.

Also we can unequivocally rule out that James Horan was lying out his ass when he said Skull Face wasn't a significant character. We could have already said that before, but its become all the more clear now.

I can't believe none has mentioned this yet.

David Hayters voice was present atleast three times. The narration fades into two or three different voice types and Hayter is definitely in there for two or three words. 'Soldiers' & 'Change' is when his voice fades in and you can hear his gravelly voice.

One of my favorite parts was just a glimpse. When you see the burning person come through the doorway, you can see big boss just slumped over next to the door. Some dark shit is gonna go down I think.
That's not Big Boss. He's to the very left in the first few frames of that scene

Right you are, madafaka!

This trailer changed the way i see snake tbh First i've thought he's just angry seeking for revenge but he seems crazy, shizophrenic and totally mad almost lost in chaos in his minds. I like it :snake:

I was sat with someone who doesn't follow MGS as avidly as I do and we both said 'That's David Hayter' without question. It's blatantly obvious now. The narrators voice is multiple actors, one of which is Hayter.

When Skullface refers "Major". It's Zero.

Looks like SOP roots are present.

Paz's pretty lol, but the shot where SF literally materializes and winks at BB, that was a bit too spoilery to be true, so I'm guessing we're purposely being misled into thinking he's a figment of Boss' imagination. Game's also more violent than I expected, those soldiers sliced up by the chopper blades and BB constantly being soaked in blood. God damn, this is shaping up to be one of my favorite video games period. As far as trailers go, this isn't the best trailer for MGSV, but its definitely my favorite because of how batshit crazy it is.
You too have known loss, and that loss torments you still. You hope hatred might someday replace the pain, but it never goes away.
