Oh god, this is ridiculous, and as stated before this talk from Konami sounds like damage control; it's public relations 101.

What's up with this title: Addressing The Recent Rumors; they are all lies

And then going on to promote more rumours and lies? Da fuq, Vault?

Any possibility of more story through DLC is a really big if. And there's no way they would announce it this close to the release date, it hasn't even been a month. If we get anything, and I doubt we will, I think Konami would announce it where the Phantom Pain was announced, at the VGA.

This is basically what we had all day. The article is just summing it up.

And there is nothing concrete in it sadly :(

So the most amazing thing just hit me. What if you unlock the last chapter similar to how you unlocked the secret ending on Silent Hills P.T

For those not aware P.t had a ending only revealed by saying the name of the character David Bowie played in Labyrinth via a microphone connected to your console of choice, the word being "Jeriith" maybe that's why there's that one radio conversation that parallels silent hills p.t it's meant to remind you what you did in that game to get the real conclusion.

It would make sense given the context of the game
Spoiler: click to toggle

Scratch that the key phrase for MGS V would be the name of David Bowies character in the Man Who Fell to Earth that's why Kojima posted about that this week on his Twitter and why he also posted that in this promotional picture he showed of Eli, Eli sitting in the chair as he was reminded him of the man who fell to earth. Illuminati confirmed

If we're going to hope for something, let's hope for something that could possibly happen. If Konami isn't actually shutting down AAA production, at least not for the time being, then it's possible we'll be getting some substantial story DLC down the road, possibly chapter 3.

Chapter 3 does NOT exist. I encountered a bug that made every mission in the game available to play without needing to unlock them. Mission 50 is the last mission, theres no Chapter 3. Maybe it will come out as DLC, but for now it does not exist.

Then maybe the Chapter 3 title card that was found is a place holder for chapter 3 once it's finished and released as DLC? Games do it all the time technically those random textures found turned out to be place holders for that one the boss skin that's coming out for quiet.

The most interesting thing for me is what is in the extra 5GB on the console version of TPP.

Also the Chapter 3 texture is definitely in the PC version, while the rest of it is not. So maybe it was left there intentionally because they knew PC people are going to hype it.

Moreover it is weird that the PC version was slated to come out September 15th but then was pushed to September 1st aswell.

Maybe it is me in denial, but something doesn't add up. The whole thing I mean. We all feel it. The feeling of something being not quite right.

But for now it is just speculation. We don't know for sure, because we have no official word, but all the little things that were discovered is just too much to just drop it without thinking twice about it.

:)

Maybe at one point the PC version was slated to be the definitive version of MGS V coming already packed with chapter hence that original delay but Konami's marketing found no reason to do that so they decided to release chapter 3 later for PC just as was the plan with the console versions. Plus giving the the fact the decks couldn't guarantee they could finish it by the 15th at least not the stomping out the bugs and glitches part. Someone's stated but the cutscene in the collectors edition is only 30 percent complete true but when was this actual did bonus finished and printers out for all we know this bonus content for fans was created many months before the game finally released hence being outdated content but you would never know. Someone should check that did on there PC and see if it shows a pub,is hint date in the docs normally d da are divided in sectors.

Or the PC version has better compression than the console versions; hence why it's smaller than the latter.

This isn't how empiricism works. The burden of proof lies on the one whom makes the claim. By your logic, the Flying Spaghetti Monster is just as possible as a "God" since neither can be proven to be impossible. Let's use Occam's Razor in this instance and chose the simplest, and most likely plausibility. This way hype doesn't get the better of us and our hope won't be crushed by a steel mallet.

Like I said before intadem lol stop tagging me in posts. Also your more then welcome to come to your own conclusions even better if you bring evidence to back up your points. Let's just remember what's at stake here my credibility not yours. If I'am wrong and there is no dlc, no chapter 3 I'll be the laughing stock of this entire forum so much so that I'll have to resign my membership and leave out of pure embarrassment.

I didn't tag you in that last post, and tagging is a feature of the forums, if you don't want to be tagged, don't use the forum man. Don't take things so seriously Vaultboy1942

Anyhow, the evidence you bring up for your claims is thin at best. You're really reaching for more content because you don't have satisfaction from the main game.
