Hey guys! I finished the phantom pain about two weeks ago, completion is now 63% and heroism about 310k. Since i can already develop everything (and i did so), i dont need to get better staff. But i wonder that i dont see any Soldiers better than S-ranked. I have not seen a single S++ or even S+ guy in the game. The only ones that i saw, were the ones everyone gets for completing those main missions. Infiltrating FOBs aint not what i like, so is there any reason to still get better staff? Any hidden weapons/camos besides Raiden and the Stealth-item (the recharging one)? And does anyone know the requirements for getting S++ enemies? Greetings, chucky_strike |

Check the tread "dummies guide to FOB". In the last page I gave some explanations, won't resolve everything, but meh, that could help |

I have been completely unable to maintain any semblance of relationship on any level I have been a bastard to the people who have actively attempted to deliver me from peril I have been acutely undeserving of the ear that listen up and lip that kissed me on the temple I have been accustomed to a stubborn disposition that admits it wish it's history disassembled I have been a hypocrite in sermonizing tolerance while skimming for a ministry to pretzel I have been unfairly resentful of those I wish that acted different when the bidding was essential I have been a terrible communicator prone to isolation over sympathy for devils I have been my own worst enemy since the very genesis of rebels | |

I've seen a couple s+ guys from replaying missions, but nothing better than that. And by a couple, I mean no more than like 5 or 6 total. I do only have ~630k heroism right now, so maybe around a million, million five things start to change. So if you want s++ staff, yeah, FOB seems like the only realistic way to do it. |

I think I have picked up a couple from regular missions-side opps...it is most definitely worth the effort to scope EVERYONE hey. Last night I found one with great credentials but instead of the usual yellow bars, this guys were orange??? Any clues on this, is he extremely rare?

I started to find S + soldiers after I reached 140k heroism, just use the analyser on every soldier you see and you'll find legendary soldiers eventually |

What platform are you playing this in? In PC you can get S++ staff easily with a mod. |

Can anyone confirm, ideally with a screenshot, that it's possible to find S+ and S++ soldiers in the open world once you've got enough highly ranked soldiers on your base? |

m8, how did you get that much heroism? I started repeating mission 3 because theres no faster way i know to do so. But i didnt know the missions gmp-rewards are getting lower and lower every time you succeed a mission. So i did it again and again until i had no more gmp, the mission only grants 30 gmp for me now. Im Playing on PlayStation, so no mods or hacks available though ![]() Edit.: Can you link the post you mentioned? I couldnt find it :-/ Edited by chucky_strike, Sep 24 2015, 10:50:24 AM.

I got 820k heroism (but am about to lose 50k due to nuke development) and I never found a soldier with a higher skill than S in the field. |

All my S++ staff were volunteers after completing mission 46, got one for each unit. I'm pretty sure you can also level S+ staff up to S++ by playing as them instead of Snake, but should probably test this. |

Just by playing normally, I've never tried to grind for it, but I am going for S rank and all mission objectives for everything. Obviously it's not as much as @ Ivanovicn, but they hand out so much of it just for missions and side ops I wouldn't worry about it. --Oh, and combat deployment as well, I always have my teams out racking up that heroism while I sit around dismissing troublemakers in the iDroid-- I'll try to take a screenshot next time I find an S+ in game, but I've only seen a couple and I usually int-scope EVERYONE. Successfully infiltrating high level FOBs will get you S+ and S++ soldiers. I've noticed that if you get to the core completely undetected with no alerts that you tend to get better soldiers. Edited by Beantown Beast, Sep 25 2015, 02:31:48 PM.
