Ok, I just had to make a new topic. This is getting ridiculous. I have 9 S-rank soldiers, and together with an A++ they have a combined fighting ability of 2174. My enemy at a D difficulty assignment (storage shed destruction) has 320! Still I get a predicted loss of 5%?? I read somewhere that you should not deploy a unit if the rate is not 95/3, but what can I do?? I cant even touch the C or B missions, and A is suicide missions! Am i missing something? |

That predicted loss is always issue - there's no way to avoid at least some amount. And even when you have that 95% success, there's still 5% chance of failure (although that hardly happens). As for that deployment thing - feel free to deploy them even if you don't have 95% success ration. Most of the A+ missions I get have about 75% success even with my best soldiers out there, there's just higher chance to fail that one. |

But lossing makes my soldiers die. And knowing this game it probably going to be the S-rank first... It just doesnt make any sence. On another D rated mission I can dispatch my A-rank with a much lower fighting ability ratio, and still get the "safe" 95/3 |

Im always losing S ranks when sending them out on easy 5 minute Deployments. It really brings down staff morale sometimes. |

I think higher your medical team is, there's going to be higher chance that they return injured than dead - at least I rarely lose staff on those easy missions required to unlock the harder ones and they are at sickbay. |

Once I noticed some soldiers die even if everything is in your favor I stopped sending them to missions, it seems they go on missions automatically but the reward is always GMP |

It's good for mining resources too, not just GMP. It also keeps a steady supply of GMP rolling into Motherbase while improving the stats of your combat team. Edited by Intandem, Sep 25 2015, 06:12:50 AM.

I always send my teams on combat deployments in the hope that I run into a fuel resource reward. Ive lost so many A++ and S ranks, but the sacrifice must go on for Motherbase. |

When I send 10 A+ or A++ soldiers to a deployment mission & there's a casualty I lose a low level soldier who was in the waiting room. Is this normal? |

How do you deploy the battle gear?or is it just for certain missions. taken me ages to find an armoured tank thing to Fulton just to use in combat deployment only to have 77% chance of winning

After much toiling with my Comat Unit soldiers, I've come to the conclusion that keeping high level (A++ and so on) soldiers in the unit just isn't worth it. The higher grade combat deployments take hours and hours to complete, and aside from GMP, don't really offer any great reward for all the time invested. If you spent 15 mins grinding Back up, Back down you can make more than the 2+ hour combat missions I've sinced moved all my A++ - S rank guys over to my security team to guard my FOBs and now keep A+ and A soldiers in my combat unit to do the lower end missions that give resources like fuel, metal, and bio materials, which generally only take 30-45 mins. |
