Thoughts on Big Ramy everyone? lots of talk of him being the next big thing and that he's going to snatch Mr. Olympia in 2 or so years. Spoiler: click to toggle Dude trains in Kuwait, actually. Pretty sure I saw him once and time when I frequented the same gym. Spoiler: click to toggle

I would like to know this as well. Kuwait has become more and more prominent lately in the BB world. maybe its because Oxygen gym has all sorts of crazy ass machines nowhere else has. maybe its Middle East genetics make for good bodybuilers or maybe (most likely one IMO) the gear's just better over there? sadik and kai are just two to travel out there and train. as for ramy, he shouldve been Mr O by now already, and actually he highlights something that infuriates me about bodybuilders. he came into 2015 mr o weighing like 315 i think he said. hes already pretty clearly got the muscle...but hes always watery in the glutes and hamstrings. Like, youre a fkn pro bodybuilder. you dont have to go work a normal job youre not skipping meals cause you work a 14-hr shift or something so how tf do you not just nail your conditioning how are you that undisciplined? shit makes me mad man. Like 2011 Phil heath everyone says that was his best stage appearance ever...how do you not just try to repeat the steps exactly the next year? how do you show up watery and bloated man i dont get it. if bodybuilding paid my bills and kept me from having to work a normal job you bet your ass my diet would be on point 100% of the fkn time |

Looks super disproportionate to me, I already don't really like the look of modern body builders, but Big Ramy looks really off. His shoulders look bigger than his chest, and his quads are waaaaay bigger than his calfs. I think his chest needs to be bigger to even it out.

I dont have an issue with modern shoulders. modern quads are kinda hilarious though. I think an X-shape can be just as aesthetically pleasing as a Y-shape though. |

I like the Y shape more, personal preference I guess. Still, massive shoulders, pretty impressive. Shoulders bigger than the chest? Fukkkk. |

yeah you gotta balance it. thats why i love the 90s era of bbing they did it very well guy like gunter were still proportioned well even despite having bigger legs ![]() prime cutler might be the most perfectly proportioned mass monster ![]() all this started because of one of the most underrated bber, mike mentzer, who got his career ruined because arnold didnt like him ![]() arnold didnt like mentzers thicker waist and ofc arnold was the golden child and everyone dickrides what he says lol |

prime cutler is nicely proportioned, and mentzer is as well. I like bigger chests, Mentzer has a nice chest build, with thick arms. Nowadays it's all about cut and striations. |

no way dont talk like that! While its true those mass monster bodies are not achievable without gear, you can still get solid mass natural! |

Yeah, I'll probably never use gear, most I'll use is protein supplements. Anyhow, I don't want to get that big, I just want to be fit and built. |

Im finally gonna pick up working out again starting tommorrow. I started a couple years ago quite fanatically, 5 days a week, and made proper gains. But i underestimated the impact my newborn son would have on my energy levels. He didnt sleep full nights until he was like 1,5 y/o. So those short nights, combined with a kinda physical job (car painter) made me eventually quit working out all together. He is now 2 and sleeps full nights and i feel full of energy again. But this time im gonna start with 3 times a week. Mondays chest/triceps, wednesday biceps/back and friday legs/shoulders. Im going for a bodytype like Randy Orton, not too big but still adonis like. Im already quite in shape so i think i will be there in 2 years, maybe sooner.

Nice thats a good goal. I have a little under a year to hit my goal according to bodyspace (217 10%bf). Im seeing hella good fatloss and its fonally starting to shrink around my sides back and upper thighs. Hopefully that means the tummy fat is next |

Been doing a 4 day work out week regimen, going to expand it to 5 days starting this week I think. Day 1 - Chest, Tris, Shoulders Day 2 - Back, Biceps, Core Day 3 - Chest, Tris, Shoulders Day 4 - Back, Biceps, Core Day 5 - Legs + extra shoulder work maybe Everyday includes 45 mins of cardio, and I've recently started using a protein shake after workouts now. Thinking I should see some good results in a couple months if I keep at it and stick to a high protein, low carb diet. Anything anyone would change in my schedule, let me know. |
