Barbell rows are good. You gotta balance most of your PRESS work(shoulder press/bench press) with pulls(rows). It's a must IMO. Learned it the hard way back then, my right shoulder got sublaxated/partially dislocated due to congenital multiple joint instability so I'm somewhat injury prone when lifting too heavy. That's why you need to balance.

Shoulder is in better shape now and did my first chest workout in 2 years on Monday. DOMS still hurts when I bring my shoulders back and arms up, 5 days....

Only did 12kg flyes as well, but the pump I've had all week was crazy.

Wanna get back on legs, got pain above and below my right kneecap so doing bodyweight squats at home and it's slowly getting better. Wanna get on them bar squats and DLs soon.

Heard a good routine is chest/tris one day, back/bis another. Lower back also needs work.

My routine is bicep back on monday, tricep chest on wednesday and legs shoulders on friday. Always end with half hour cardio.

My routine is so much more satisfying...Junk food every day and no exercise. <3

Though I do plan to get back into shape again, gonna start boxing and stuff again.

Anyone wanna recommend something good to get rid of mah belly?
Maybe a lil routine I can get into each morning or something?

I can infact do that, I still have most of my boxing gear from back when I used to fight.

Though it's a lil difficult to do that in my flat, I'd need to go outside and I'd most likely get stabbed for doing that around here...

When you guys get DOMS in you pecs, do you usually get it in the armpit fold or more at the sternal area? I always get it at the armpit fold but idk if that's normal or not.

Yes, i do 10 mins on stairmaster or 15 on treadmill at a 3.5 pace before lifting. Some people do cardio post lifting.

I feel it everywhere if i contract. Maybe you arent squeezing fully when lifting.

Boxing shoes are GOAT for squats. Dont waste money on "lifting shoes"

The chest DOMS I had was the outer pec, just beside the armpit where it meets the front delt. Cus flyes.

That's normal, still the pecs. It's also probably due to wide grip bench press or flys, try shoulder width press or narrow grip press. And lean forward cable flys.

I do HIIT cardio after every end of workout, every other day.. and in between I do low intensity cardio.

That's normal, still the pecs. It's also probably due to wide grip bench press or flys, try shoulder width press or narrow grip press. And lean forward cable flys.

See, that's the thing. When I do bench press for strength, I always use a rather narrow grip. And I do the cable flys as well. I rarely do wide-grip pressing, but I still get soreness near the armpits rather than the sternal area. I'll ask my physical therapist tomorrow :)
