Stars Norman Reedus. It's basically a video announcing the title of the game - there's nothing much yet. No gameplay yet.

I wonder if Kojima actually believes all this shit to be true(about ropes, sticks etc.)

In what sense? He said that rope keep things close to you. In the trailer for example the hand cuff and umbilical cord seem like examples of ropes. Maybe someone was handcuffed to Reedus. The baby seems like it was definitely connected to Reedus as well. The dog tags maybe be Reedus' connection to who he is or his past experiences. If death is what brought him to that place those 3 things may be the clues/connection/ropes that he has to his prior existence.

I'm wandering if death will change how we view things. The poem in the trailer was interesting too:

To see the world in a grain of sand
And a heaven in a wild flower
Hold infinity in the palm of your hand
And eternity in an hour

Hmmm.. All a matter of how we perceive things based on space and time. Maybe related to the Dirac equation

All in all very interesting stuff that makes me want to get into studying some quantum physics
I made a big post explaining what I think of the poem in the other thread. :P
I know a little about relativity, and the poem makes a great deal of sense to me.

Kojima is making a lot of bold and brash statements about his new game. I hope they have some truth to it. He might be surrounded by too many yes-men that tell him how awesome and original and special he is.

I think Death Stranding might be better than mgsv in the story department. Definitely better than tw3. Norman Reedus seems a lot more relatable than gerald.

You stop right fucking there and apologies Infiltrator . CIA is many things; a has been meme master, a baneposter who ran it to the ground so bad to where it stopped being funny, a complete and utter podcast tsundere but I will NOT allow you to call him a shitty Gary Stu who killed a 7 part book series. That's just mean and unfair.

Sorry if I sound angry but this was too much, even with the strike in mind.

Jack, listen to me. We're all born with an expiration date. No one lasts forever. Life is nothing but a grace period - for turning our genetic material into the next generation. The data of life is transferred from parent to child. That's how it works. But we have no heirs, no legacy. Cloned from our father, with the ability to reproduce conveniently engineered out. What is our legacy if we cannot pass the torch? Proof of our existence - a mark of some sort. When the torch is passed on from parent to child... it extends beyond DNA; information is imparted as well. All I want is to be remembered. By other people, by history. - Soildus Snake
