So I had the great honor of experiencing 3 of these little fuckers in my left kidney. My god it was the worse pain I have ever felt in my life. I think the only pain worse than passing a stone from your kidney is being shot in the kidney. Morphine doesn't even work. I was literally crwaling on the fround of a hospital dripping in sweat for 5 hours. My advice to all you people... drink a lot of water.

It one of my lifelong dreams to never pass a kidney stone. It just sounds like the most horrific thing in the world.

Never had one (and never want to) but my cousin did. He was screaming in pain and agony and usually physical pain never bothers him much. Hope you're doing okay now.

I'll remember to keep drinking lots of water!

You stop right fucking there and apologies Infiltrator . CIA is many things; a has been meme master, a baneposter who ran it to the ground so bad to where it stopped being funny, a complete and utter podcast tsundere but I will NOT allow you to call him a shitty Gary Stu who killed a 7 part book series. That's just mean and unfair.

Sorry if I sound angry but this was too much, even with the strike in mind.

I'm good now.. The worse part of it is when it leaves the kidney. As soon as its in the bladder it's instant relief. I pissed it out a few days ago. Theres a slight pinch leaving the bladder but that's it.

dehyrdation, I think? minerals and stuff builds up in the kidneys and causes awful pain.

I had them before. Excruciating pain, had to take a bunch of painkillers just to move around. Paid a trip to the doc and they put me in there for a few hours, afterwards they just told me to drink a lot of water.

I have to get them tested but i think it was dehydration. About a month ago, i did a shitload of yard work and i know i didn't drink enough water. Woke up the next morning and my whole body was aching. Spent that day drinking beer which probably was a poor choice and made things worse.

Fun thing is your water supply might be loaded with calcium and that can give you a kidney stone.

If you ever get dehydrated, electrolytes are your best friend. A four-pack of Aquarius gets you right as rain.

Bro tip: hangovers are caused by mild dehydration.

Still we carry you.

I had one. I was just about to finish work and started pissing blood. The worst part was that I had a bus to catch, so I was on the bus for an hour and a half at the back, thinking I was going to die.

I've only ever drank water or tea for the last 15 years, so that tells you had bad it is :D

I've never experienced having a kidney stone, and I'm thankful for that. My brother has had several and I can't even imagine how painful it is.

When I was at Uni I had a dorm director who actually remembered my brother getting his first kidney stone while he went to the same University as I did all those years ago. He went into the bathroom and found my brother lying on the floor in horrible pain, and there was blood all over the toilet. They had to call an ambulance :s
