So...I don't know how I feel about this. Sounds like its Kojima trying to pull a Dark Souls, actually. Journey and a few other games beat him to the punch on the whole ''battling'' thing so he's not exactly breaking new grounds here, but i'm interested in the mechanic very much nonetheless.

Ludens remember how you said they were making fast progress back when the trailer was announced? well this says they had just recently picked an engine and that its just now entering proper production so I was right about the progress of the game.

That's definitely true, though the world would've felt much more alive if there were more animals inhabiting the maps. the older gameplay demos showed lots of animals roaming around the mission area but the animal density was reduced a lot in the final game, making the maps feel too empty. but yeah, the open world was never meant to be full of activities or side quests.
