As in when he touches something with the arm, the arm has some sensory system in place which relays what this should feel like to Snake's nervous system and allows him to feel with the arm? I would think he has sense of touch in the arm considering how hard it'd be to fire a gun without being able to feel it with your other hand.

I mean Phantom Limb is a real thing. I'm sure there's some sort of feedback tbh as mentioned above for trigger discipline etc.

This is interesting how he could feel his fingers when he's missing half of arm ? maybe he meant phantom pain by that but still he shouldn't be able to use his bionic arm so skillfully maybe the bionic arm is somehow connected to his nervous system or muscles.

Yes looks like i was right

I mean I think usually phantom limb sensation takes a while and some mental training to go away, maybe it just never went away from him since he got his bionic arm pretty soon after he woke up and used it to control his arm so naturally and precisely.

You too have known loss, and that loss torments you still. You hope hatred might someday replace the pain, but it never goes away.

Phantom pain is pain that feels like it's coming from a body part that's no longer there. Doctors once believed this post-amputation phenomenon was a psychological problem, but experts now recognize that these real sensations originate in the spinal cord and brain.

It is widely common knowledge in medical communities that pain comes from the mind.
