I think given all the theories and speculation that have been thrown on the internet since this game was announced, it is worth going through all the news articles and anything from Kojima that has been confirmed to be in the game Ignoring theories or anything like that, I just want to know confirmed pieces of information from reliable news sources and gaming journalists, or from interviews from Kojima himself (so basically, gaming websites like IGN or Gamespot will be considered as credible information). To keep the information accurate, links will need to be posted in order to confirm information that will probably be mentioned. Otherwise, we would be basing info on a "he said/she said" basis, and nothing could be confirmed from the game. Just to get the ball rolling and so everyone knows what I mean, one confirmed piece of info that is in the game is the idea of life/death. Death does not mean the end in Death Stranding, as the player will be able to explore another plain. https://gamingbolt.com/death-strandings-unique-death-mechanics-explained ^^^ this can be now considered as credible info, as it is not a speculation or a theory, and comes from an interview from Kojima himself. Quotes from the article would also be useful, but posting the link itself is perfectly fine. Leave your replies below! PS: I am allowing Youtube clips as credible information if the Youtuber also fact-checks his information and does not make speculation throughout his/her video. For example, Yong's videos that have credible sources and credible information is acceptable, but a video in which he rambles on and provides theory, will not. |
